One Simple Change for Enduring Weight Loss (Better Than Ozempic)

Keto and intermittent fasting can help you lose weight and lower high insulin, but there’s something even more important for weight loss. In this video, I’m going to share my number one best weight loss tip. Don’t overcomplicate weight loss! This simple tip is the key to your success. Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) 0:00 Introduction: Dr. Berg’s best weight loss tip! 1:20 What is the problem with high insulin? 2:45 Intermittent fasting 3:27 Addictive ultra-processed foods 4:24 Download my new app! 4:50 Protein and weight loss 7:32 More weight loss tips Here’s the secret! Don’t eat until you’re hungry! People often eat for emotional reasons. This trains the body to associate food with stress relief, happiness, and pleasure. Many people will also keep eating even after they’re full. Constant eating leaves you constantly bloated and turning to antacids for relief. It overwhelms the microbes, liver, pancreas, gallbladder, and stomach, causing them to work overtime. If you’re eating when you’re not hungry, you’re constantly spiking insulin. Insulin is the hormone that causes fat storage and removes sugar from the blood. When you have chronic high insulin, you develop a protective mechanism called insulin resistance, where insulin no longer works. This leads to more hunger and cravings. If you only eat when you are hungry, your body will tell you how long you should fast. Fasting allows you to burn your own fat for fuel. Other than fat burning, other intermittent fasting benefits include brain cell growth, elevated mood, improved cognitive function, and decreased inflammation. Self-control and willpower are developed if you only eat when you are hungry. Food companies came up with the slogan, “There is no bad food.” This is a lie! Ultra-processed foods are bad foods. Junk food companies have worked to create the bliss point. This is the ultimate pleasure sensation you receive from eating junk foods. This maximum dopamine rush is caused by the perfect ratio of sugar, salt, and fat. My new app can help you easily navigate the grocery store and quickly discover the starches, sugars, and seed oils hiding in your food. Junk foods do not have protein. This causes you to continue to eat them because you will continue to eat until your protein needs are met. They are also devoid of nutrients. Focus on nutrient-dense, high-quality protein to keep you feeling full. Avoid mindless eating and snacking. If you’re not hungry at breakfast time, skip it and only have lunch and dinner. Stay busy throughout the day and ensure that your environment supports healthy eating.
