Body Wisdom Challenge

This week, instead of asking yourself “What's wrong with me?” or immediately trying to fix something, practice getting curious about what may be underneath it.

Choose one area where you continually feel stuck, maybe it's food, movement, your body, boundaries, self-care, relationships, or the way you speak to yourself.

Then ask yourself:

❤️ What happens in my body when I think about this?

❤️ Am I responding to myself with curiosity or judgment?

❤️ What am I afraid might happen if I did something differently?

Body Wisdom isn't about treating yourself like another project that needs to be fixed. It's about becoming curious enough to understand yourself and compassionate enough to listen.

In This Episode, We Discuss:
  • Ramona's journey from herbal wellness and holistic weight-loss coaching into fitness, empowerment coaching, and Gentle Trauma Release
  • Why Ramona believes the nervous system and unresolved distress are often overlooked when women feel stuck
  • How emotional patterns may influence our choices, behaviors, boundaries, and relationship with ourselves
  • Why creating safety in the body is foundational to Ramona's approach
  • The problem with using the scale as the primary measure of progress
  • Why strength, energy, body composition, and how you feel may tell you more than your weight
  • Moving away from all-or-nothing thinking around food, exercise, and health
  • Why honoring your capacity matters during stressful seasons of life
  • How perimenopause, menopause, divorce, caregiving, and other transitions can become opportunities to reassess what you want
Key Takeaways
  • Feeling stuck doesn't automatically mean you need more willpower. Sometimes getting curious about the emotional and nervous-system patterns surrounding a behavior can give you a different place to begin.
  • The scale is a tool—not a measure of your worth or the full story of your health. Strength, energy, mobility, body composition, confidence, and how you feel matter too.
  • Your capacity changes with the season of your life. Supporting yourself during a difficult transition may look very different from what it looks like during a season when you have more time and energy.
  • Gentleness doesn't mean weakness. Ramona's approach emphasizes creating safety, reducing shame and judgment, and listening to the parts of yourself that may still be trying to protect you.

📘 Healthy for a Reason: 12 Practical Guidelines to Feel Like Yourself Again

If you're tired of starting over, trying harder, and wondering why nothing seems to work, Healthy for a Reason was written for you.

For years, we've been told the answer is more willpower, more restriction, and more rules. But if you've struggled with cravings, fatigue, emotional eating, poor sleep, or stubborn weight despite doing everything "right," you know it's not that simple.

What if those struggles weren't signs that you've failed?

What if they were your body's way of asking for something different?

In Healthy for a Reason, Lindsie combines nearly two decades of nursing experience with practical health coaching strategies to help you understand what your body has been trying to tell you all along. You'll learn how to calm your nervous system, recognize your body's signals, build sustainable habits, and create lasting health by working with your body instead of constantly fighting against it.

This isn't another diet book or a collection of quick fixes. It's a practical, compassionate guide to helping you reconnect with your body, rebuild trust in yourself, and finally understand why you're healthy for a reason.
