Blood on the watch, body never found.

Blood on the watch, body never found.

A woman cried alone in a bar while a man with a history of murder helped her out. No one saw her alive again, but investigators found blood on a watch and a burned seat from the inside. What happened to Carolyn Killaby that night?

In this episode, we analyze the disappearance of Carolyn Killaby in Vancouver, Washington, in 1995. We examine the evidence found in Dennis Smith's truck, a man with a criminal history who was the last person seen with Carolyn. How did forensic evidence, including mitochondrial DNA, connect Smith to Carolyn's disappearance?
