A Day in the Life at FBA: Little Warriors, Big Entrepreneurial Minds

Did you know FBA's kindergartners can tell you about growth mindset, grit, redefining failure and opportunity seeking? In this episode of Warrior Wisdom: A Day in the Life at FBA, Mrs. Teresa Chambers sits down with kindergarten teachers Kathryn Sellers, Hayley Smolen and Chanel Thomas to talk about how FBA's entrepreneurial mindset comes to life for our youngest Warriors.

The conversation explores how these ideas are translated into language and habits a five or six-year-old can understand and use, turning "I can't do this" into "I can't do this yet,” for example. The teachers share how the pillars of the entrepreneurial mindset are paired with a stuffed animal, giving students a tangible way to recognize and apply these ideas and giving parents the opportunity to partner with us to reinforce the same language and habits at home.

This episode is a reminder that the entrepreneurial mindset at First Baptist Academy isn't reserved for middle school; it starts in kindergarten, building habits of curiosity, perseverance and problem-solving that will serve students for a lifetime.
