Police Interrogation of Former Police Chief For Murderon October 2017, Hardin, then 50 years old, pleaded guilty to first-degree murder, admitting that he had killed James Appleton. The Murder Of Cari Farver True Crime DocumentaryCari Lea Farver, a 37-year-old Iowa woman, was last seen leaving her lover Dave Kroupa's house in Omaha, Nebraska, on her way to work.
