Many classic cult tactics are tightly woven in the fabric of the Jehovah's Witness culture and Micki does a phenomenal job unpacking and clearly explaining just how manipulative and cohesive it is towards members. Since leaving the religion a few years ago, Micki has been an outspoken advocate against the harmful practices of the JW's which is incredibly MEANINGFUL work yet it receives a ton of backlash and hate from active group members.
