Kate Codrington a menstrual and menopause mentor who trained at Red School on why she's ditched the words "menopause" and "perimenopause" altogether in favour of "life autumn," extending the seasonal menstrual-cycle model up to a whole life stage. Her own experience of perimenopause arriving on top of postnatal recovery in her late 30s and 40s, why discernment and "not giving a shit anymore" are genuine gifts of this transition rather than symptoms to manage, and what "second spring" looks like on the other side.
