Learn the Skill That Will Keep You From Overeating: Responding vs Reacting

Have you ever reacted to a situation or another person and regretted how you reacted later on? Our emotions can be overwhelming at times, feel absolutely true when they are happening and many of us are just in the habit of reacting in order to “off-load” the emotions that we are experiencing in the moment. Unfortuantely, often our reacting creates unneeded emotional pain which leads to many things like unhealthy or broken relationships, heightened stress in our minds and bodies, as well as behaviors to try to distract from the emotional pain like overeating and over drinking. I’m going to give you some tried and true practices you can start to implement today to help you learn how to get in the habit of responding instead of reacting to certain situations. This practice can help you drop weight and keep it off for good.
