In 2008, Marvin Owen paddled down the Columbia River from its origin at Columbia Lake in British Columbia all of the way to the mouth of the river at the border of Washington and Oregon. In 2017, he decided that he'd do it all over again. Marvin built his own kayak with the help of a local boat builder and set off to experience this epic journey once again. His trip took 80 days and covered 1200 miles.
