The Abduction of Steven Stayner
We go back to 1972 to revisit one of the most publicized kidnappings in American history. As I mentioned in the episode, I tried to use as much from the Captive Audience: An American Horror Story documentary from the words of Steven's own family. The Infuriating Disappearance of Relisha Rudd
8 year old Relisha Rudd has not been seen since 2014. Sadly, this will be a discussion of how every person in Relisha’s short, difficult life failed her completely. If you have any information concerning this investigation, please contact the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI, or your local FBI office or the nearest American Embassy or Consulate. The FBI and DC Police are offering a combined $50,000 reward for any information leading to the discovery and return of Relisha. The podcast mentioned in this episode is titled Through the Cracks. Amanda Kay Jones - A Mother Missing
On 8/14/2005, 26 year old Amanda Jones set off for a meeting with the man she claimed fathered her unborn son at a local civic center club. After speaking with her former sister in law at around 1:15 PM, Amanda went silent. And has remained so for the last 17 years. Fox 2 St. Louis series mentioned in episode: https://youtu.be/LYzZfJdU31M St. Louis FBI 314-589-2500 Jefferson County Sheriff's Office 636-797-5515 Socials Instagram - APineforTrueCrime TikTok - dustivibes apinepodcast@gmail.com Update - on September 7 2022, a wrongful death lawsuit filed by Amanda's family in October 2021 was granted dismissal by Jefferson County Circuit Judge Brenda Stacey. Kim Rensing, a co-counselor for Westfall, had the following to say within their motion for dismissal: “Despite the plaintiffs’ speculations to the contrary, no evidence has ever been discovered or provided to make any sufficient connection to support any criminal charges against Mr. Westfall regarding Amanda Jones’ disappearance and purported death. Nothing has occurred in the last 16 years to change that fact. If the plaintiffs were so convinced of the cause of Amanda Jones’ death, they should have filed a claim for wrongful death by Aug. 14, 2008, three years after the accrual of the cause.”

Paula and Robert Sims - Part I
Losing your baby by kidnapping is unthinkable and devastating. Losing two babies by kidnapping? Has to be fiction. The answer? Yes and no. This episode includes technical difficulties, a blooper left and medium cussing. Love you for sticking by me.
