Dr. Frank Ocasio is a board certified anesthesiologist and pain management physician. He received his medical training at Weill Cornell Medical College, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, The Hospital for Special Surgery, and The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He serves as the Director of Acute pain management as well as serving as the Chair of the Pain Management and ERAS Committees at Huntington Hospital. Dr. Ocasio works closely with Northwell’s top surgeons to deliver an opioid sparring approach to pre and post operative strategies to reduce pain and speed recovery from surgery. In addition, he is the director of north shore Headache and Spine in Huntington. Dr. Ocasio’s passion for healthcare began in holistic medicine. He is able to combine this philosophy with cutting edge interventions to treat headache, neck, back, and joint pain to restore function and provide the highest quality of pain management to Long Island

Dr. Sood is an ambassador for science, who is very concerned about the many anti-science movements and the public distrust of government organizations who only serve to help us.
His future vision is to continue to screen for infectious diseases affecting babies and children in our vulnerable Suffolk County communities, especially the undocumented minorities who might avoid medical visits due to fear of persecution today.
