Ep. 053 | The Murder of Amber Tuccaro
Amber Tuccaro, a 20-year-old member of the Mikisew Cree First Nation, disappeared on August 18, 2010, after hitchhiking from a motel in Nisku, Alberta, toward Edmonton. During the ride, she called her incarcerated brother, and the call was recorded, capturing a conversation in which she questioned the driver's route, expressing concern that he was not taking her where she wanted to go. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) released a portion of this recording in 2012, hoping the public could identify the man's voice. Shortly after, Amber's remains were discovered in a field in Leduc County, south of her last known location. Ep. 048 | The Murder of Dr. Kendra Hatcher
True Crime Creepers Link TreeKendra Hatcher, a 35-year-old pediatric dentist living in Dallas, Texas, was shot and killed in the parking garage of her upscale apartment complex on September 2, 2015. The murder was orchestrated by Brenda Delgado, the ex-girlfriend of Kendra’s boyfriend, Ricky Paniagua, who had grown jealous of their relationship. Brenda recruited Crystal Cortes to drive getaway and hired Kristopher Love to carry out the shooting, promising payment in exchange. Delgado provided Cortes with information about Kendra’s whereabouts and used her connections to obtain the murder weapon. The plot unraveled quickly as investigators tracked down Cortes, who confessed and implicated both Love and Delgado. Love was later convicted and sentenced to death, while Delgado, who had fled to Mexico, was extradited and received a life sentence.
