Episode #83 kicks off with all the regular FTK "Friend Of The Show" housekeeping before reminding the listeners to use the password FTK for a discount on Maurie Plant Meet tickets. Due to a scheduling conflict we've brought forward our live show to Wednesday the 14th of February at Runners Paradise. Following the free-to-attend 6:00pm shop run FTK will be hosting a special unrecorded live-talk with special guests Jack Rayner and Stewy McSweyn who are racing the 5000m and Mile respectively at the Maurie Plant Meet. As for training weeks Brett lays down his last big week at altitude before he begins his taper into Marugame Half Marathon and Joel finally cracks the triple digits in mileage (for the first time in six months). Brett & Riley speak to Brooke Feldmeier - an American 800m athlete who started training under Nic Bideau with MTC last year. Brooke opens up about her unorthodox entry into the sport and talks about how her change in training style has seen her stay injury free in the lead up to next months Maurie Plant Meet.
