Yossi Matias is Vice President, Engineering & Research, at Google, advancing AI to help transform healthcare, conversational AI, and the climate crisis. He is the global lead of Google’s Health AI, Google’s Crisis Response and Climate Crises AI initiatives, and pioneered Conversational AI technologies. Previously Yossi was on Google’s Search leadership for over a decade. Among his recognitions, Yossi is a recipient of the Godel Prize and the ACM Kanellakis Theory and Practice Award for seminal work on large-scale data analytics.
