We talk song requests and dance floor energy in Barbados and dive into Puffy’s inspiration and studio flow along with his early years, passionate in tennis. There’s no way we could possibly express what an honor it was to have the legendary Greg Wilson (@dj_greg_wilson) on the pod for an in depth history lesson of electro and his roots in dance music as a dj. This episode is important to us on so many levels because so many of these stories needed to be told for djs and producers to grasp a full perspective of what was going on in the early 80s to lead into the rave movement and the explosion of dance music worldwide. This week on the podcast we’re joined by royalty: the legendary Dirty South Joe @dsjoedeux . If I had to guess, this podcast opening was Neek’s favorite… nothing but anime talk for the first 10 minutes, and no you don’t have to watch anime to learn something new. Joe speaks on his OP Otaku party @opotakuparty which focuses on the intro and credit music from anime shows. Following that we get into a remarkable battle courtesy of Lowbee: Hypnotize Minds vs Swisha House. After that we slide back into some bloghouse history, our unanimous dislike for M. Night Shyamalan films and Joe’s larger than life Super Bowl adventures with Diplo. You’re not going to believe the ending of this story.
