Why I Tell Clinics Not to Start with Aesthetics - EP 191

If you're just starting in the medical clinic space and think Botox and fillers are your ticket to quick profits… pump the brakes. In this episode, I explain why I never recommend starting your clinic with aesthetics as your core service line. The competition is brutal, and the big players can undercut you on price all day long. I'll walk you through exactly what needs to be in place to make it work: the right provider, a clear upsell path, and a full facial assessment model that drives higher-ticket services like fillers, skin care, micro needling, and more.

I'll even share a real-world example of a $1.2 million/year clinic we bought that made $0 in profit, all because they relied solely on Botox. After stepping in, we had to completely restructure the service offering to include high-margin treatments that actually moved the needle.
