Episode 187: Mentally A Badass

Episode 187: Mentally A Badass

Hello! Today's guest is extra special, my new friend, host of her own podcast, Mentally A Badass, and just an overall amazing human. The mission behind her mental health brand stems from the pain she endured growing up as a bullied child. She often felt isolated and hated by everyone around her, which left a lasting mark on her sense of self. On top of that, the stigma surrounding mental health made it even harder to feel understood or supported. With a deep desire to change the narrative, she decided to study psychology, aiming to become a therapist. However, as she navigated her own mental health struggles, she realized she wasn't in a place to help others in the way she had envisioned. Justine's career path took a different turn when she was accepted into the Disney College Program. The supportive community she found there played a significant role in improving her mental health. Now, among the other amazing things she does, she has a top 5% globally ranked podcast called Mentally a Badass. You can find her linktree here for her podcast and all of other other links!
