Bristol City 0-0 Nottingham Forest: The 1865 Match Report

Bristol City 0-0 Nottingham Forest: The 1865 Match Report

The 1865 Forest Ramble is part of the Fan Hub Network - where fans come first. It was a goalless draw, and a fairly unexciting encounter between two teams now mired in mid-table obscurity - but what a relief for Reds fans to be able to say that after looking over their shoulders all season. Alex Mighten came closest for the visitors, hitting the post in the first half, before former Reds skipper Henri Lansbury returned the favour from the other end, with Brice Samba stranded. Erm, that's about it - neither keeper had much to do, and although Forest were probably the better team, Chris Hughton was disappointed not to have inflicted an eighth straight home defeat on City. Rich Ferraro is joined by Stanley Hughes from the One Stream In Bristol podcast, to dissect the match and wallow in the misery of lockdown football - we didn't even mention the annoying swimming pool noises over the Tannoy. Coventry City 2-1 Nottingham Forest: The 1865 Match Report

Coventry City 2-1 Nottingham Forest: The 1865 Match Report

1865: The Nottingham Forest Podcast is proud to partner with FanHub and The Terrace. A disappointing start to the season as Coventry took the three points with a last gap goal. After a decent first 45 minutes, the Reds ran out of steam and paid the price for poor defending as they conceded first an equaliser, then a stoppage-time winner to a Coventry side buoyed on by their home fans. Tom Newton reports from the Coventry Building Society Arena, and then we are joined by Joey from Coventry podcast the Nii Lamptey Show, to dissect the action, and how much of a difference it made to have fans back in the ground. 1865 Magic Moments Part 6: Paul Hart

1865: The Nottingham Forest Podcast is proud to partner with FanHub and The Terrace. We begin our pre-season countdown by looking back at some of our favourite memories of following Forest through the years. These aren't necessarily great goals or great matches - just something that has stuck in our minds. In the last episode of the current run, the Maradona of the Midlands looks back at one of the great opening day performances by a young Reds team, as Paul Hart took over at the City Ground and the Reds played total football (and Marlon Harewood decked the linesman). We begin our pre-season countdown by looking back at some of our favourite memories of following Forest through the years. These aren't necessarily great goals or great matches - just something that has stuck in our minds. Today Jeremy thinks back to an important moment in his formative years - a rare trip to the City Ground, sitting in the away end, when Forest and England skipper Stuart Pearce took matters into his own hands and scored a diving header to liven up an uninspiring match against lower-league Hereford United. We begin our pre-season countdown by looking back at some of our favourite memories of following Forest through the years. These aren't necessarily great goals or great matches - just something that has stuck in our minds. Astonishingly, we have another magic moment from our days in League One; Steven Toplis reviews a miserable evening at Oldham as Forest conceded five goals and two red cards, but the Forest fans proved that there ain't no party like a Reds club party. If nothing else, it shows that things could be a lot worse... Like what you hear? 1865 Magic Moments Part 3: Gino Padula (yes, really)

1865: The Nottingham Forest Podcast is proud to partner with FanHub and The Terrace. We begin our pre-season countdown by looking back at some of our favourite memories of following Forest through the years. These aren't necessarily great goals or great matches - just something that has stuck in our minds. Today, Tom Newton thinks back to unhappy days under Gary Megson; a woeful Forest team had been relegated, and Megson's attempts to rebuild were nothing short of disastrous - but maligned full-back managed to provide a moment of joy for the away fans at Oakwell. 1865: The Nottingham Forest Podcast is proud to partner with FanHub and The Terrace. We begin our pre-season countdown by looking back at some of our favourite memories of following Forest through the years. These aren't necessarily great goals or great matches - just something that has stuck in our minds. In this episode, we look back at a historic moment on a hungover New Year's Day in 1992. A match where more or less nothing happened, and Forest fans were leaving the ground, but then Sir Desmond Sinclair Walker scored his one and only goal in professional football. Like what you hear?
