Nottingham Forest 0-2 Tottenham Hotspur: The 1865 Premier League Match Report

Nottingham Forest 0-2 Tottenham Hotspur: The 1865 Premier League Match Report

It was a disappointing defeat but positive performance from Steve Cooper's men, as the opposition showed what a difference a striker can make. Forest had chances, most notably from Ryan Yates and Neco Williams, but apart from Lewis O'Brien's long-range effort, Hugo Lloris did not have a save to make. On the other hand, Harry Kane had three chances, and although his penalty was well-saved, he was clinical in scoring a brace. Rich Ferraro is joined by the Maradona of the Midlands to discuss team selection, physicality and Richarlison's antics. We also hear from Spurs fan HG of the Cheese Room Podcast, listen in to our Tom on BBC 5Live, and get the latest Forest news roundup from Callum Castel-Nuovo. 1865 Magic Moments Part 5: Stuart Pearce

1865: The Nottingham Forest Podcast is proud to partner with FanHub and The Terrace. We begin our pre-season countdown by looking back at some of our favourite memories of following Forest through the years. These aren't necessarily great goals or great matches - just something that has stuck in our minds. Today Jeremy thinks back to an important moment in his formative years - a rare trip to the City Ground, sitting in the away end, when Forest and England skipper Stuart Pearce took matters into his own hands and scored a diving header to liven up an uninspiring match against lower-league Hereford United. We begin our pre-season countdown by looking back at some of our favourite memories of following Forest through the years. These aren't necessarily great goals or great matches - just something that has stuck in our minds. Astonishingly, we have another magic moment from our days in League One; Steven Toplis reviews a miserable evening at Oldham as Forest conceded five goals and two red cards, but the Forest fans proved that there ain't no party like a Reds club party. If nothing else, it shows that things could be a lot worse... Like what you hear? 1865: The Nottingham Forest Podcast is proud to partner with FanHub and The Terrace. We begin our pre-season countdown by looking back at some of our favourite memories of following Forest through the years. These aren't necessarily great goals or great matches - just something that has stuck in our minds. Today, Tom Newton thinks back to unhappy days under Gary Megson; a woeful Forest team had been relegated, and Megson's attempts to rebuild were nothing short of disastrous - but maligned full-back managed to provide a moment of joy for the away fans at Oakwell. 1865: The Nottingham Forest Podcast is proud to partner with FanHub and The Terrace. We begin our pre-season countdown by looking back at some of our favourite memories of following Forest through the years. These aren't necessarily great goals or great matches - just something that has stuck in our minds. In this episode, we look back at a historic moment on a hungover New Year's Day in 1992. A match where more or less nothing happened, and Forest fans were leaving the ground, but then Sir Desmond Sinclair Walker scored his one and only goal in professional football. Like what you hear? To kick off, Baz remembers a memorable derby day that started with a belter by Radi Majewski and ended with a fight over a corner flag - but it was something that Billy Davies did that sticks in his mind.
