Nottingham Forest 1-1 AFC Bournemouth: The 1865 Match Report

Nottingham Forest 1-1 AFC Bournemouth: The 1865 Match Report

It was an opening day draw for the Reds against bogey team Bournemouth, as the visitors scored a late equaliser that was "preventable" according to both Nuno and pretty much every Forest supporter. Chris Wood's opening goal came midway through the first half, but the game had already been overshadowed by a serious ankle injury to Danilo, who needed lengthy treatment behind privacy screens, before being stretchered off. Fortunately, it seems as though the Brazilian will be out for weeks, rather than months, and we send him our best wishes. George Edwards hosts our match report and is joined by Tom Newton to dissect the action, some of the key players involved, which areas of the team need to improve, and whether Nuno's position is under threat (which some Forest fans seem to be saying - yes, really). Thrown to the Lions: Nottingham Forest 0-3 Millwall mini match report

Millwall put in a tactical masterclass in the first half, earning them three goals and three points.
