Night Watch: His Affair Got Him Arrested: Here’s What Sherrone Moore Did

College is supposed to be a fresh start. But for some, it becomes the setting for abuse, fraud, and crimes hidden in plain sight. This week, Katie breaks down the cases that turned college campuses into crime scenes in a special edition of Night Watch: University Week.

To kick it off, Katie breaks down a case that’s happening right now: the downfall of Sherrone Moore: the man who was supposed to lead the University of Michigan into its next chapter. Instead, he was fired for cause and booked into county jail as investigators allege harassment and a late night break-in at a former employee’s home. Who was the woman he had an affair with? How long was it going on? And how long did he think he could keep it a secret? Katie walks through what is publicly known, what the charging documents say, and why this case landed so hard in Ann Arbor.
