Lucy Banks Reveals How She Built an OnlyFans Empire With PR, Marketing & Smart Diversification

What does it really take to grow an OnlyFans business when the platform itself isn't sending you new subscribers? In Episode #75 of Cam Girl Diaries, Gary Gabagool sits down with Lucy Banks, a former banking professional, content creator, entrepreneur, and founder of Million Billion Media, to talk about OnlyFans marketing, PR, audience growth, and building a business that doesn't depend entirely on one platform.

Lucy spent approximately 10 years working in banking before discovering OnlyFans and making the transition into online content creation. She quickly learned that creating content was only one piece of the puzzle. Without a traditional discovery or Explore page on OnlyFans, she had to figure out how to get people to find her.
Her solution involved social media, PR, journalists, news articles, podcasts, and developing stories that would make people want to click. At one point, Lucy's audience grew to approximately 104,000 followers, and she says a single article brought around 20,000 followers.

Lucy explains how she approached OnlyFans PR, including finding journalist contact information, sending press releases, developing relationships with media outlets, and learning how to turn her personal experiences into stories that attracted attention.

But perhaps the biggest lesson of the episode is that creators shouldn't assume their success will always live on the same platform.

Lucy discusses her experiences with OnlyFans, including a major platform warning that affected thousands of creators, and explains why she believes creators should diversify beyond OnlyFans and build additional businesses, audiences, and income streams while they have momentum.

That philosophy eventually led Lucy to Million Billion Media, a PR and marketing agency working with OnlyFans creators, adult-industry businesses, and sex-tech companies.

This is a conversation about OnlyFans promotion, media strategy, audience growth, platform risk, entrepreneurship, and what it takes to turn content creation into something bigger than a profile on one website.
