#48 The Overseers: The Praying Mantis Aliens Behind UFO Encounters

In 1963, a seventeen-year-old girl from Covina, California experienced something that would remain buried in her memory for nearly thirty years.

When the memories finally surfaced, what she described was not just an alien abduction.

It was something far stranger.

Linda Porter claimed she was taken to a facility where multiple types of non-human entities operated together. Small Greys carried out medical procedures. Strange caretaker beings guided her through dim corridors. And overseeing everything was a towering figure that looked like a giant praying mantis.

But the most disturbing part of her account came later.

In a room filled with dense, glowing light, Porter said she watched something she struggled to describe for the rest of her life: what appeared to be the transfer of a human soul from a dying body into a new one.

And the mantis entity was supervising the entire process.

Over the decades, other witnesses around the world have reported encountering similar beings: tall insectoid figures that rarely perform the procedures themselves, but instead observe, direct, and oversee the work of the more familiar “Grey” aliens.

Some researchers believe these entities represent a higher level of intelligence within the UFO phenomenon, something like architects or administrators of a much larger program.

Others argue the experiences can be explained through psychology, sleep paralysis, or the powerful influence of cultural archetypes.

Tonight we take a deep dive into the Linda Porter case, the strange pattern of “Mantid” encounters across decades of UFO reports, and the unsettling possibility that if these beings are real… they may not be visitors at all.

They may be managers.

And the real question might not be what they are.

It might be what they answer to.
