50 Years of Photography, Travel & Conservation | Art Wolfe (EP170)

In this episode, legendary photographer Art Wolfe shares insights from over 50 years of shooting wildlife, culture, and landscapes around the world. From conservation and creativity to AI ethics and artistic integrity, this conversation explores what it takes to stay inspired, relevant, and impactful as a photographer across decades of change.

===========================================

Art Wolfe is one of the most accomplished nature photographers in the world, with a career spanning over five decades and work created on every continent.

He’s published over 100 books, had his images featured in top publications like National Geographic and Smithsonian, and produced the award-winning TV series Art Wolfe’s Travels to the Edge, which has been broadcast globally.

What sets Art apart is his mission. He’s not just documenting nature, he’s using photography as a tool for conservation and storytelling, long before that became a defined genre.

He’s received some of the highest honours in photography, including lifetime achievement awards, and continues to shoot, teach, publish, and travel extensively, often spending 9 months of the year in the field.

Beyond his work, he’s influenced generations of photographers through workshops, books, and education, blending fine art with environmental advocacy.
