“The smart way to keep people passive and obedient is to strictly limit the spectrum of acceptable opinion, but allow very lively debate within that spectrum. That gives people the sense of that there is free thinking going on while all the time the presuppositions of the system are being reinforced by the limit put on the range of the debate.”

They also take a look at new Pew Research Center research that shows Americans have a dismal view of politics. (Who knew, huh?)

They “honor” a Republican, a Democrat, and Gymnastics Ireland with the prestigious Stupidcallousfrackinidioticandobnoxious award.

Finally, they wrap up with the first Third Space Champions award to the city of Ingersoll, Ontario for granting a bit of grace to Bob, an elderly goat.
