Eros & Logos with Venus-Jupiter in Cancer & Mercury Direct: Weekly Astrology for August 11 - 17

In episode 594, depth psychotherapist and astrologer Shawna McGrath, LMFT (she/her) shares with you the astrology of the week from a depth psychological perspective.

This week's astrology speaks to the complimentary ancient Greek concepts of Eros (love, attraction, the life force of desire) and Logos (insight, knowledge, wisdom). These themes involve embodiment as well as insight, being in the moment and then taking time to emotionally digest your experiences, and what's truly important to you.

The astrology this week includes:

- Saturn in Aries sextile Uranus in Gemini

- Venus conjunct Jupiter in Cancer

- Venus in Cancer square Ceres in Aries

- Mercury stations direct on Monday, August 11th at 12:30am PT at 4 degrees Leo

- Mercury in Leo sextile Mars in Libra

- Last Quarter Moon on Friday, August 15th at 10:12pm PT at 23 degrees Taurus
