82 - Marcus Collins: Standing Proud, Mrs Doubtfire & The X Factor

We have a delightfully camp - and unexpectedly profound - episode of The Final FronTia for you... singer, West End star and all-round ray of queer sunshine Marcus Collins is on the show!

Marcus first broke through in the UK as a contestant on the eighth series of The X Factor where he became a runner-up in the finals, whilst little-known girl group Little Mix won! His cover of "Seven Nation Army" shot into the Top 10 UK Charts, as did his self-titled album.

Since then, Marcus has taken the West End by storm - performing in Kinky Boots, Hairspray and, most recently, Mrs Doubtfire.

On this episode of The Final FronTia, Tia and Marcus cover everything from growing up mixed-race to toxic fandoms, Marcus' X Factor rollercoaster and Paddington Bear's uncanny blinking.

Marcus shares stories from working in theatre for over 20 years and his favourite roles, including his revolutionary turn in Mrs Doubtfire. He also spills the tea on his next project... and Tia and Marcus play a truly deranged game of Snag, Marry, Kill which leaves nobody (human or fictional) untouched!
