#59 Roswell Part I: The Night Something Fell From the Sky

July, 1947.

A storm rolls across the New Mexico desert.

The next morning, a rancher named Mack Brazel rides out to check his land… and finds something scattered across the scrub that he cannot explain.

Within days, the United States military announces it has recovered a “flying disc.”

Then suddenly:

Never mind.

Weather balloon.

Nothing to see here.

But the story refuses to die.

In Part One of this massive three-part Roswell series, we go back to the beginning — before the myths, before the alien autopsies, before Area 51 became a household name.

This is the Roswell before the legend fully formed.

We examine:

The eerie storm over the Foster Ranch
Mack Brazel’s discovery
The flying saucer panic of 1947
Kenneth Arnold and the birth of the UFO era
Major Jesse Marcel and the mysterious debris
The infamous military press release
The rapid government reversal
The Fort Worth photographs
Project Mogul and the official explanation
The unanswered questions that still haunt Roswell nearly 80 years later

Was Roswell a classified Cold War operation?

A catastrophic military misunderstanding?

Or did something genuinely unexplained fall from the sky that summer?

Tonight, we step into the desert and begin the investigation.

Welcome to The Roswell Dossier.
