The Short and the Shasta of It | 505

We’re diving headfirst into two weird news stories this week that prove the universe has a comedy writer, and that writer has been drinking Bot Booze again.

First up, a man claiming to have the world’s smallest penis launches a fundraiser for micropenis enlargement surgery, turning a very personal medical issue into a very public internet saga. Is it body positivity? Oversharing? A GoFundMe with a magnifying glass? Yes.

Then we ride into the eerie woods of Mount Shasta, where horseback riders followed an “apocalyptic” soundtrack and discovered hidden solar-powered speakers blasting white noise, mantras, and possible mountain-mystic elevator music. Was it a spiritual project? A Lemurian conference call? Bigfoot’s ambient playlist? The truth is somewhere between “deeply weird” and “please stop putting Bluetooth speakers in the forest.”
