Dialogue Session: Apostle Atta K. Gyebi hosted a health discussion with Health Specialists on the theme "Healthy living"(27TH APRIL 2025)

Info. on specialists: The Apostle of God held this discussion with two medical practitioners, Dr. Emmanuel Akowuah, a ten-year physician specialist, Cardiologist and Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Health Sciences, KNUST and Dr. Collins Amoako Mensah, also a physician specialist at Kumasi-South Hospital.

Brief: According to the World Health Organization (WHO), good health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well being. Considering the human being to have body, soul and spirit, it demands that the spirit man also be cared for (Luke: 1 vs 80, Luke: 2 vs 52).The body as a complex structure coupled with its various functions speaks explicitly that there is God who is supreme over all (Psalm 24 vs 1-2, Genesis: 2 vs 7). This stage more light on God as a Great Physician and Dietician (Exodus: 23 vs 25, Ezekiel: 47 vs 12, 1st Timothy: 4 vs 8). One of the endangered systems within the human body is the cardiovascular system which has Hypertension as the leading cause. It is often said of it among practitioners to be a "silent killer". Cardiac diseases are associated with body inflammations, rapid heart beats, swollen feet, uneasiness to sleep at the back, etc. Hypertension can be hereditary and age induced, and can be prevented and checked by eating balanced diets, drinking enough water (minimum 2 litres daily), exercising at least 30 minutes daily, and continuous resting for minimum 5 hours. Furthermore, it is best to avoid alcohol, drugs, and excess body weight. It is expected of people to have fair knowledge of their family health history, usual body functions and to be consistent with health checkups.

As Christians, it is required to live right as a true child of God to always secure the divine covering and hedge God shields us with (Job: 1 vs 10, Psalms 91 vs 1, Proverbs:1 30 vs 5).

Always know that it is God's will that you live health since our bodily service is needed His church (3rd John vs 2, Romans: 12 vs 1).
