429: Validating the EAGL genetic literacy measure

An interaction between education and connection to autism was observed for knowledge comprehension, highlighting education as a moderator.

The EAGL-short is a psychometrically sound, 17-item tool that measures subjective knowledge, knowledge comprehension, and conceptual genetic knowledge in US adults; it enables more precise assessment of genetic literacy and the design of targeted educational interventions, though further validation in other languages and settings is recommended.
