I’m Not Antisocial — I’m Tired of Explaining Myself | ADHD, Autism & Neurodivergent Burnout

💜 I’m Not Antisocial — I’m Tired of Explaining Myself 💜

As a late-diagnosed neurodivergent woman with ADHD and autism, I’ve spent years explaining myself to other people.

Why am I overwhelmed?

Why do I need alone time?

Why do I cancel plans?

Why do I struggle with social exhaustion?

Why do I seem fine one day and burnt out the next?

In this episode, I talk about ADHD, autism, masking, people pleasing, neurodivergent burnout, social fatigue, late diagnosis, overwhelm and the emotional exhaustion that comes from constantly having to justify your needs to others.

This isn’t about being antisocial.

It’s about being tired of translating your brain for a world that doesn’t always understand neurodivergence.

If you’ve ever felt exhausted by social expectations, struggled with masking, experienced autistic burnout, ADHD burnout, or felt guilty for needing space, this episode might resonate with you.
