The Global Gratitude Show with James Bishop

The Global Gratitude Show with James Bishop

James Bishop is a Benedictine monk with the World Community for Christian Meditation (wccm.org). He studied Electronics Engineering in college, taught computer engineering and mathematics, and has given a guest lecture on meditation at Georgetown University. James worked for over ten years with artificial intelligence computer software.

James struggled with alcoholism until learning about his neurodivergence and other psychological issues. Meditation helped him on his journey of self-discovery and healing.

In 2012 James wrote “A Way in the Wilderness,” (publisher: Continuum) a commentary on a sixth-century manuscript about monastic life. In 2014 he wrote “bitmonk,” (publisher: Lulu) a novel about a computer hacker. Both books are available on Amazon.
