Episode 56: No Mud, No Lotus

Episode 56: No Mud, No Lotus

In this episode of the Mushroom Mamasita Podcast, my guest shares her honest perspective of motherhood. We discuss how a specific template of motherhood is expected by all women and how many women experience shame around the fact that they don’t easily click into the mother role or bond with their baby from day one. We also discuss perfectionism and workaholism as women in America. She shares how deeply cut off she was from her emotions and body and how she has been able to work towards a more human existence with the help of mushrooms. I love how honest she is with this share, I hope this conversation makes many more women feel seen and understood. Give it a listen and share it with anyone you think would benefit from her story.

Listener discretion is advised: This podcast discusses sensitive topics related to trauma, abuse, addiction and psychedelic therapy, which may be sensitive or triggering for some listeners. I encourage listeners to engage mindfully and take care of themselves throughout the conversation.
