Beneath the HEADSTONE | The Fronczak Files S5 Ep. 5

A hidden identity. A family of secrets. A fight to exhume.

In this episode of The Fronczak Files, Jack and Tracey detail the journey that led them to an extraordinary decision: petitioning the state of New Jersey to exhume Marie Duncan Rosenthal.

Why did the team determine that Marie’s exhumation may be necessary to move the search for Jill Rosenthal forward? Why aren’t consumer DNA test results enough when it comes to legally establishing identity? And could a set of unidentified human remains discovered in Mountainside, New Jersey, hold a connection to Jill?

Join Jack and Tracey as they reveal why the team is seeking Marie’s exhumation and how the DNA buried with her could establish Jack’s genetic identity, provide a critical reference for Jill, and potentially unlock answers in a mystery that had endured for more than six decades.

In this episode, Jack and Tracey:

• Discuss why consumer DNA test results may not meet the evidentiary standards required in court

• Explain why Marie’s exhumation could be critical to establishing Jack’s genetic identity and advancing the search for Jill

• Examine a set of unidentified human remains discovered in 1971 in Mountainside, New Jersey, and why the case has drawn the team’s attention
