Keshia Golden Guilty Plea, Houston Police and Flock Camera Abuse

Keshia Golden was eight months pregnant when she fatally stabbed her boyfriend, Calvin Sidney, after what she says was another violent attack in a relationship marked by repeated domestic violence allegations. Originally charged with first-degree murder, Golden maintained that she acted to protect herself and her unborn child.

Nearly four years later, just as her trial was set to begin, prosecutors offered Golden a dramatically reduced deal. She pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter and received two years of probation with no prison time.
