The Minibus Driver Who Came Home Between Killings

The Minibus Driver Who Came Home Between Killings

A woman boards a minibus alone at 5 AM and survives, filing a formal complaint. For two years, the system does nothing, and at least six other women board the same route and never come home. How did one driver become a predator on a public transport route, and why did no one stop him?

In this episode, we analyze the case of César Armando Librado Legorreta, known as El Coqueto, and the institutional failures that allowed him to continue driving. We explore the critical role of the minibus network in the State of Mexico, where millions rely on it as their only option, often at vulnerable hours, and how this trust was exploited.
