The Annual International ADHD Conference 2022 took place in Dallas, Texas USA recently from November 17th - 19th. CHADD, ADDA and ACO collaborated once again to create a conference which brought together the most current research, comprehensive treatment options, best practices for professionals, as well as practical support and guidance for children, adults and families impacted by ADHD.ADHD Care Podcast host Archie attended the 3-day conference and managed to record some audio interviews with some of the invited delegates. On this episode Archie takes us on a tour around the main exhibition hall at the conference which featured the most cutting edge advances in technology used in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of ADHD. Archie speaks to some of the tech gurus who were showcasing their products.

Tina has had a successful career working in Corporate Sales & Human Resources for a number of years before leaving the corporate world to become a Certified ADHD Coach. Tina herself is diagnosed with Adult ADHD. Les and Arthur share their story about their journey which eventually led them to seeking a diagnosis in their late 20s. Les and Arthur's stories do resinate with a number of adults who have lived with the condition for many years dating back to childhood before undergoing an ADHD assessment. Les and Arthur do also speak candidly about some of the social aspects of ADHD which do bring about some challenges and how they have tried to overcome them. We also discuss about some of the barriers which prevent male adults in particular from seeking an ADHD diagnosis or putting themselves forward for an assessment.
