Becoming (Super) Famous In Quarantine With Benee

Hello favourites, this week we are so excited to bring you our interview with BENEE, the New Zealand music sensation being called 'the next Lorde'. Earlier this year, BENEE's song 'Supalonely' became the TikTok anthem of lockdown, racking up a casual 500 million downloads on Spotify, and earning BENEE nods from the likes of Elton John, and slots on The Ellen Show and Jimmy Kimmel. Now, BENEE is releasing her first studio album, Hey u x, which features collaborations with Grimes and Lily Allen (casual). Hey u x is already getting glowing reviews by the likes of NME, and is out NOW, so download immediately. We talk to BENEE about why so many talented musicians come out of New Zealand, what it's like to go viral during lockdown, and why fame doesn't really interest her.
