After Chidera Eggerue A.K.A 'The Slumflower' accused Florence Given of copying her work to create the year-defining feminist-lite tome 'Women Don't Owe You Pretty', feminist Instagram exploded. We try to make sense of the many different strands to this conversation, which continues to unfold this week. Then, FKA Twigs' not-so-shocking allegations of domestic abuse, emotional manipulation and sexual battery against ex Shia LaBeouf has given much-needed attention to the rising rates of domestic violence during Covid-19. We discuss the intricacies and nuances of domestic violence relationships with the manager of an Australian shelter, including how to get help if you (or a friend) needs it.
