REP: Matt Damon and Brian Billick

Matt Damon and Brian Billick... Before getting to this latest episode, I’d like to take a moment to address all the kind words and congratulations sent in the direction of the podcast for passing the 10 million download mark. Speaking for producers Chris Law and Chris Brockman and everyone associated with the show from its near three-year history, I thank you all from the bottom of my heart. It truly has been a labor of love. Or, as our previous guest Larry David would say, it’s been a prettay, prettay, prettay good run. And, on that note, I couldn’t think of a better guest to have on to begin the next 10 million downloads than Matt Damon. Other than being an Academy Award winning, Emmy nominated A-list actor, he’s also a fantastic regular guy. And you’ll hear that in the conversation on this show as he bemoans the loss of Wes Welker to the Denver Broncos and re-iterates his trust in Bill Belichick and Tom Brady just like every New England Patriots fan you’ve come across. Damon loves his Pats for sure, and he knows his stuff, too. His reaction to the addition of Tim Tebow and the New York Jets’ famous “Buttfumble” are not to be missed. Also not to be missed: his new movie “Elysium” in a theater near you. Go see it. The show wraps up with a fun conversation with Brian Billick, the Super Bowl-winning coach of the 2000 Baltimore Ravens and NFL Network analyst. We go soup to nuts with Coach as the first preseason week of the 2013 gets into full swing. He also inspired this week’s poll question seen on this page. Again, as always, thanks for the download and enjoy the listen. And thanks for all your support!!!
