21. How To Support Someone Living With CPTSD

This much-requested episode of Healing CPTSD, focuses on support for loved ones of those living with complex PTSD – this episode is for partners, family members or close friends. It includes insights and practical tools, gathered from my own practice and offered by community members, to navigate the complexities of these relationships, to ultimately come into better connection with each other.


We’ll explore four key categories:

  1. Valuable skills and knowledge – Understanding the unique challenges of CPTSD and how to approach them.
  2. Self-care for you as a loved one – Prioritising your own well-being while supporting someone else.
  3. Relational practices for connection – How to come together in moments of disconnection and dysregulation.
  4. Specific resources – Tools to help guide both of you on the healing journey (all which are linked below).
