Every Kind of Mind - Understanding Autism with Dr. Regan

Today we talked to Dr. Theresa Regan, (she/her) who is a rare combination of adult neuropsychologist (specialist in brain-behavior relationships), parent of a teen on the autism spectrum, and certified autism specialist with the IBCCES. Her mission is to bring validation and hope to autistic individuals and their families. With this mission at its core, she founded and directs the OSF HealthCare Adult Diagnostic Autism Clinic in central Illinois. She has published two books, Understanding Autism in Adults and Aging Adults (2nd Edition) and Understanding Autistic Behaviors, and she is the host of the Autism in the Adult podcast. Her website (adultandgeriatricautism.com) contains multiple resources for individuals, families, and professionals wishing to learn more about neurodiversity across the lifespan.
