50. Why I Like and Don't Like Slow Release T3
There are things that I like about slow release T3 and things I don’t like about it. In this video, we will look at the good and the bad of slow release T3. First, they must be compounded with some fillers. That is what makes it slow release. The fillers can cause some problems with absorption for folks that have gut issues. It also cannot be used for folks with circadian rhythm issues and low cortisol in the morning. But for folks that cannot take T3 because it raises their blood pressure too high (I mean dangerously high), it might be a good solution. We look at these issues and how they help decide whether slow release T3 is for you. The true answer is to optimize the best thyroid hormone replacement solution for you personally.
