'The Bullet That Missed' Book 3 of Richard Osman's Thursday Murder Club series of whodunnits set in idyllic retirement village Coopers Chase.

For people (like Matthew) who have read the first two books in the series, it's the eagerly awaited return of beloved characters Joyce, Elizabeth, Ron and Ibrahim.

For people (like Steve) who are new to the seriesm it's a chance to follow the adventures of a group of senior citizens who have taken to solving murders. Society may have cast them aside, but they are fully rounded human beings with a wealth of experience.

In our role as one of the world's very few audiobook review and recommendation podcasts, we feel it is our duty to bring up the issue that nobody else is talking about - to mention the elephant in the room:
