Prior to Portshift, Ran held executive leadership position w/Check Point software technologies leading network security appliances business line. Earlier, Ran co-founded BladeFusion the first industry standard for Multi Bladed Security appliance for enterprise and prior to that he managed an Engineering team of exceptional researchers and developers in distributed computing at MainControl (acquired by IBM). Ran is the inventor and author of more than ten patents, most of which are in the field of cyber security. He holds a BSc and an MSc in Computer Sciences with Honors from the Technion in Haifa, Israel.
