Yossi Matias is Vice President, Engineering & Research, at Google, advancing AI to help transform healthcare, conversational AI, and the climate crisis. He is the global lead of Google’s Health AI, Google’s Crisis Response and Climate Crises AI initiatives, and pioneered Conversational AI technologies. Previously Yossi was on Google’s Search leadership for over a decade. Yossi established Google’s center in Israel and grew it to over 2500, oversaw Google’s site in Bangalore, India through its 4-fold growth, and oversees Google’s expanding Research center in Africa.
