Unstoppable Woman: Lisa Wilber: Said the Lady with the Blue Hair

Lisa Wilber started selling Avon on Guam at the age of 18. By 1986 she had sold part-time while working other jobs including as a convenience store clerk and secretary. When she was laid off from her job and couldn't find another, she turned her Avon side gig into a full-time business.

When Avon introduced their network marketing program in 1992, Lisa did not initially sign up for it; but by January 1993 she was all in. Within 15 months she made it to the top of the pay plan and has since built a team with Representatives in every state.

She has been in Avon U.S.'s top 10 money earners for more than two decades, currently at number 5.

Avon refers to Lisa Wilber as ""the best-known Avon Representative in the world"" because of appearances in magazines such as ""Upline"" and ""Avon Dreams"" and newspapers such as ""USA Today"" and ""The Concord Monitor"". She was awarded Avon's highest honor given to a non-employee in 2007 ""Avon Woman of Enterprise"" and in 2015 was named the Top Female Networker in the World by Business For Home website.

Lisa Wilber is the author of three books and the co-author of half a dozen others, including the ""View from the Top"" series of books which she spearheaded as a project for top Avon leaders.

Her latest book is coauthored with Insurance Industry legend Jeff West and is titled ""Said the Lady with the Blue Hair"".
