Ep. 799: Climbing Grand Teton - Revisited - Craig Dinkel

Ep. 799: Climbing Grand Teton - Revisited - Craig Dinkel

Originally aired June 30, 2016.

Craig Dinkel's adventurous life began with a near-drowning at the very young age of just 2. But instead of this experience leaving him with a fear of water, Craig ultimately became an excellent swimmer competing for Cal State and qualifying for the Olympic trials. He’s an entrepreneur having grown a company from ground level into a half-billion dollar market only to be wiped out by the dot-com crash. Craig eventually found himself at the summit of 13,775 ft Grand Teton in Wyoming and ultimately caught the bug to attempt a thru-hike of the Continental Divide Trail and hopefully bag the triple crown thru-hiking the Continental Divide Trail, Pacific Crest Trail, and the Appalachian Trail. Craig is also the founder and owner of the supplements company BioTropic Labs.

Originally published July 5, 2021Oftentimes the best adventures are not in the most well-known places or in the most dramatic of sceneries. Hidden gems of adventure are all around us. In fact, as we say on this show, adventure is anywhere you are. Alexandre had his sights set on Turkey, a country he had longed to visit. Little did he know, the adjacent and lesser-traveled country of Georgia would quickly become one of his favorite places in his more than seven-year full-time travel adventure. Support Adventure Sports Podcast monthly by going to Patreon.com/AdventureSportsPodcast or make a one-time donation to the show here.Learn more about Greg Wingo’s Albanian Alps trail running adventures at roamprojects.comEd Roberson’s Mountain & Prairie Podcast episode about landing a job in the conservation world: https://mountainandprairie.com/shed-sesh/Find Fitz Cahall’s new book, States of Adventure here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/074409271X?tag=randohouseinc7986-20Support Adventure Sports Podcast monthly by going to Patreon.com/AdventureSportsPodcast or make a one-time donation to the show here.Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/adventure-sports-podcast/donationsAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy
