How To Embrace Hygge and Make Your Home The Ultimate Cozy Vibe

As the temperature drops and we all spend more time indoors, we thought it would be timely to do an episode about how we make our homes cozier so we are embracing the winter season, instead of wishing the cold days away. I’m sure you’ve all seen or heard of the Danish word ‘hygge’ which is all about surrounding yourself with the things that make life good, like friendship, laughter, and security, as well as more concrete things like warmth, light, seasonal food, and drinks.

We both share what we’ve been up to lately and how we’re tapping into our senses to channel hygge into our lives. Think: cooking to jazz music, adding more pillows and blankets to furniture, lighting (non-toxic) candles, and elevating small nooks.
